GAFTG - Ashley Park's "I Can't Breathe" Art Print
Green Amendments For The Generations is partnering with a local NJ youth artist, Ashley Park, to offer 11" by 17" prints of her painting, "I Can't Breathe." All proceeds will raise money for The Green Amendment Movement.
Ashley Park is a student at Bergen County Technical High School and a youth representative of the NJ Green Amendment Steering Committee. Ashley is also on the leadership team of NJ Student Sustainability Coalition.
“The Green Amendment will not only preserve our environment that is being destroyed with every new power plant, but also improve public health and protect the marginalized communities that have been targets of environmental injustice for generations. Unfortunately, environmental issues are rarely the priority or focal consideration in large decision making processes, which is why my generation is living in a world that is threatened by the effects of climate change. But the Green Amendment is a major step towards systemic reform that will ensure a clean, safe, and just future,” said Ashley Park.
Green Amendments For The Generations is a sister organization of the Delaware Riverkeeper Network. Maya van Rossum leads both of these organizations, who work in strong partnership with one another. The Delaware Riverkeeper Network will process these orders, but all proceeds for the Green Amendment Collection will support Green Amendments For The Generations.
